Designed as a seamless drop-in replacement for the AR-15 platform, the Wide Open Triggers (WOT) is a hard-reset trigger meticulously engineered for durability and repetitive use.
Wide Open Triggers features a patent-pending spring-locking bar, distinguishing it from other triggers. The hammer of this trigger is fortified with Hardox steel, a material known for its exceptional toughness, enabling it to withstand continuous shocks, jolts, and impacts day after day. This robust construction allows the Wide Open Triggers to endure the relentless cycling of the bolt carrier group (BCG) in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.
WOT Triggers are designed to prevent fully automatic operation. The hammer is released by the locking bar, which strikes the firing pin, triggering the primer on the brass casing. As a result, only one bullet is discharged with each pull of the trigger.
Wide Open Triggers' patent-pending spring-locking bar adds to its uniqueness. The hammer, reinforced with Hardox steel, copes with daily shocks and impacts, allowing it to withstand the constant beating from the bolt carrier group (BCG) in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.
Wide Open Triggers are not capable of fully automatic fire. The hammer, released by the locking bar, strikes the firing pin, activating the primer on the brass casing, ensuring that only one bullet is fired per trigger pull.
